About Rathmichael Parish

We in Rathmichael Parish Church are a lively and welcoming community of Christians.

With a history of faithful followers of Jesus Christ, we continue to earnestly grow as disciples trusting that God will continue to bless the seeds of faith that we are planting for generations to come.

We delight in and cherish our church family, one with a broad range of ages. Our prayer is that you would know the warmth and encouragement this family brings as you join us on our journey of faith.

Supporting our Worship

Worship at Rathmichael is facilitated by many volunteers who give of their time and skills to ensure the smooth running of our services, and upkeep of our grounds and buildings.

We encourage you to consider being involved in some of these ministries.

To express an interest in assisting in one of these areas, please speak with a Church Warden or the Rector who will connect you to the right person.

Giving

Why we give?

The Bible calls us to give generously, humbly and cheerfully; an act of worship as we acknowledge and offer our gratitude for all that God has graciously given us and done for us.

Your generous giving makes possible: all our worship services, programs for children and youth, Bible studies, small groups, pastoral care and support, outreach and our ministry to the needy; as well as lighting, heating and maintenance of our buildings and grounds.

How we give?

We pray that every person attending Rathmichael Parish Church will faithfully respond to the call to give according to their means. The many ways to do this are: Standing Order, Envelope scheme, cash or cheque on the collection plate and card machine.

The most efficient way of giving is by weekly or monthly Standing Order. As we are a registered charity, when an individual donates €250 or more in a year, we can claim a refund of tax paid on that donation; consequently a donation of €250 may be worth up to €327 to the church.

Regular giving is important as it allows the church to plan wisely for our ministries. Please contact our Honorary Treasurer for more details – treasurer@rathmichaelparish.org
